Name: Hanna

Age: 18

Gender: F

Location: Stockholm/Västerås, Sweden

Job: Art student

Single/Taken: Recently turned single

Sexual Orientation: Bi

College (if applicable): Nah, not exactly. Swedish system's not the same, you see. Västerås Konstskola, you could say.

The Every Rating Community Makes You Do This Part

Bio (I mean a bio... not a Proustian seven volume biography): OK, I really don't like bios, but I'll try. I'm an 18 year old girl from Sweden who thinks a great party is when you start out by drinking some beer and talking trash, and then dance the drunken daze away to anything from klezmer to electro. I read more than I should, yet I want to read more. I make short films when I have the time, and when I don't have the time, I edit other people's films. I am one out of three people in Västerås who makes stencils and sprays them wherever necessary. I drink more than five cups of coffee a day, and if I don't, I won't be able to sleep. Latest news are that I'm taking care of a goldfish called Love who belongs to a complete stranger.

Hobbies: Reading, painting, editing, drawing comics, making stencils, collecting postcards, baking

Arts (showing us a piece of yours is nice): I'll have to go with my most recent t-shirt then, since most of the art I'm proud of is still off as a part of my application to the art school.

Favorite place to shop: Beyond Retro and HM are probably the only ones you'd know of, but besides those two I like La Principesa, Street, The Modern Museum of Art in Stockholm, Pet Sounds Records, Lagerhaus, Coctail, etc. Doesn't ring a bell, does it?

Describe your fashion style: Argh, do I have to define myself? Really...Then I guess it's 30's-70's vintage mixed with punk

Do you wear makeup?: Yup, but mostly just eyeliner , mascara and some foundation.

Dream House: A small, old factory house made of bricks with the chimney still there and with huge glass windows. Perhaps a small garden to that as well where I could have some herbs and strawberry and blueberriy bushes.

Dream Car: No car for me, thank you, I keep it environmental.

Dream Job: Editor, illustrator/author of children's books, welfare officer, scriptwriter

10 + Bands: CocoRosie, Magnetic Fields, Kaizers Orchestra, Detektivbyrån, Nina Hagen, The Clash, The Smiths, Shonen Knife, The Specials, Gorillaz, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Anna Ternheim, Hello Saferide, Säkert!, The Pillows, Pink Floyd, Nick Cave, Mew, Gogol Bordello and many, many more.

5+ Movies: Black Cat White Cat, 12 and Holding, Oldboy, Tjenare Kungen, Eraserhead, Porco Rosso, This is England, Dumplings, Hiroshima - Mon Amour, Wings of Desire (Himmel über Berlin), Elephant

3+ Artists: Fuko Ueda, Banksy, James Jean, Warhol, Toulouse-Lautrec, David Lynch, Joanna Rubin Dranger, Junko Mizuno, DOLK, Rinpa Eshidan, Frida Kahlo

5+ Books: Haunted by Chuck Palahiniuk, Catcher in the Rye by J. D Salinger, Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer, The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood, The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov, Junk by Melvin Burgess

Favorite Cause: Feminism, questioning idealism, pro choice, enviromental issues, human rights

Pets: Nope

Hottest member: I'm going to go for Madam Mew Mew, I don't care if you're not goth, you looked awesome in that!

The Political Part (long answer section, 4+ sentences each, or 2+ run-ons)>

Abortion: Of course. I find it somewhat selfish to pop out your own kid when there already are millions out there who are in dire need of a parents, so abort but adopt I'd say. I've gone through two abortions myself, and while it's not a pleasant experience physically, I was certain from the beginning. I would never want to give birth to a child that I had to convince myself to love and I would never want to look at my child and think that "I didn't want you to start with".

Gay Marriage: Of course. In the end, it's just about to gay people inheriting each other's old couches anyway. BUT on the other hand, I find the lack of respect for religion a bit disturbing in this debate, because religion is much more than a holy scripture and a bunch of conservative people. What people usually don't know is that gay marriage in a church/synagogue/mosque is more often a cultural issue than a religious one, and culture is something that I for one choose to respect rather than provoke. Because honestly, is marriage all that important? Having homosexuality being listed as a crime in many parts of the world, I'd say THAT'S a more important question than throwing on a tiara and a tuxedo in Vegas.

War: I'd say it's inevitable since conflict is in the human nature, but I do believe that there are much more constructive ways to take care of warfare issues and stressed situations in whatever country. Even if I hope for peace, I can't say that I believe in it, because as long as it's easy to kill another human being without feeling guilt or empathy, war will always be present in our world.

Freedom of Speech: Of course, even though it's complicated. However, I'd say that source criticism is essential for freedom of speech to actually work, and also to know that all people do not agree with you and to respect that (which is incredibly hard at very many points)

Intellectual Property (AKA Napster or no?): Knowledge is power. I'd be a fool not to participate in the exchange of information, so yes, go piracy. Art, music and literature should not be created for profit or fame, but for joy and the will to expose and share yourself and your ideas with other people, and perhaps piracy is the harsh lesson that money clenching super stars and companies have to learn.

Animal Rights: Of course (vegetarian). If a sure sign of a psychopath is that he/she tortures animals regularly, why would we let people do it 24/7 just so that we can have another hamburger?

The Death Penalty: No. How can you justify killing another human being simply to state an example? If you do that, you are no better than any dictator. Besides, if you want to punish someone, go with a life sentence instead. Feeling the years pass by is probably more effective than just to end it all suddenly.

(+ means to a reasonable number, keep it sane)

5+ pictures of you (No web cam shots if you can help it) at least one clear face shot, and one full body shot:

2+ pictures of your significant other (if you have one): Nope

1+ pictures of a room or rooms in your house that you were involved in the decoration of: Sorry, I'm moving right now, so everything I ever DID decorate is packed into a carton box. Oh well.

OK, so the code didn't work I guess. If I could, I'd edit it, but it's somewhat beyond me now I guess. Well, have fun reading and excuse me for this inconvenience.
